Pelvic Floor Pop-Up

Ready to stop living life without having to worry about pain or leaking? Join us for a 40 min core & pelvic floor focused workout followed, community, and a Q&A with Dr. Katie Castillo, PT, DPT

I talk to moms every day that think that pain & leaking are just a part of motherhood, and their only solution is to wear dark leggings and avoid trampolines for the rest of their lives.

If there is one thing you take away from reading this, let it be this: You don't have to live with these symptoms!

This workout will introduce you to the exact exercises I use (and no, its not more kegels) with my one-on-one physical therapy clients to help them return to living a leak-free, pain-free life!

From body building, multiple miscarriages, multiple pregnancies, and breastfeeding my body has felt so beat up and overall weak. Since seeing Katie I've regained confidence that my body can infact be strong again. I'm so grateful to have found her she's amazing to work with and I've seen noticable results from just a few sessions with her. Can't recommend her enough.

Dr. Katie Castillo

Founder, Strength & Dignity Wellness

I’m a doctor of physical therapy with a passion for serving women through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Following my own difficult postpartum recovery, I went into eldest daughter mode and devoted all my energy into learning how to fix the hole I saw in healthcare, and become the provider that I wished I’d had.

Call me biased, but I believe that pelvic floor therapy should be the standard of care for all postpartum moms. Leaking, pain, and heaviness may be common after birth, but they do not need to be accepted, and they can all be treated! This is my calling, and I will forever LOVE working with moms and teaching them how to move well and fix compensation patterns through corrective exercise so they can resolve their symptoms and show up as the strongest, healthiest version of themselves for their children.

FAQ

What if I haven't worked out in awhile?

This isn't your typical group exercise class. The exercises we go over together will be more similar to an early-mid phase rehab session and are low impact in nature.

Is this going to fix my problems?

This workout is meant to be a STARTING point to introduce you to pelvic floor therapy beyond kegels. True, lasting results will occur from one-on-one with specific exercises customized to your needs

How many moms will be attending?

We have space for a maximum of 15 attendees. This will allow me to give individual cues as we work through the exercises together

Will the equipment be provided?

We ask that you bring your own yoga mat, but all other equipment needed for the workout will be provided.

If my kids are in school, can I still attend?

Absolutely! Moms with children of any age will find the exercises shared in this workshop useful.

What if I'm pregnant?

All of the exercises can be easily modified for pregnancy. We just ask that you have been cleared by your provider to exercise before participating in the class.

Don't settle for pain & leaking being “just a part of motherhood” when you could be chasing your kids without fear of either one! The hardest step is the first one and I'm here to guide you along the way.
